Peggy Rogerson
My degree in the Fine Arts enables me to create more than just a picture. I like to think of myself as an artist using the camera as a brush. I combine traditional photography with a contemporary style, but my main objective is to please my clients by creating lasting memories, finding the most beautiful side of you, and telling your story.
I prefer to photograph people in a relaxed casual atmosphere. I like to shoot on location, but I have an in-home studio if that's what you prefer. Feel free to bring your own props if they are special to you. Yes, animals are welcome. It's your portrait and, like all art, it should be original.
I feel honored that God has allowed me to do professionlly what I have always loved. And I appreciate being able to celebrate with you a child's early smiles, a day when a bride feels the most beautiful, or the love and devotion of a family.
Since I do all the photographing, editing, and ordering, appointments are limited. If it meets your schedule best, I am willing to photograph at nights and on weekends. Weddings are limited to12 a year. Call for an appointment rather than just stopping by since I could be out of my studio or in the camera room with a client.
I regularly attend classes and workshops on the latest digital photography technology, photographic techniques, and computerized design and editing programs. I am a member of Professional Photographer's of North Carolina, Southeastern Professional Photographer's of America, Professional Photographer's of America, the Equine Photographer's Network.
